Overflowing with charm and narrative sass, the songs of singer and multi-instrumentalist Katie Zaccardi will grab your heart by the hand and dance into the warm summer breeze.

A native New Yorker, Katie’s music bug bit early. From the age of eight she began taking classical piano lessons and absorbed the eclectic musical tastes of her father. Identifying more with what she was listening to on the radio, she started writing her own original songs early in life and developed her songwriting skills with various professional music teachers. In high school, she taught herself to play guitar and even the ukulele - which honed her craft while stretching her artistic gifts. Zaccardi’s passions additionally took to the form of musical theater as well, where she acted and sang in many stage productions and absorbed the grand Broadway traditions of the big city.

Katie then landed at New York University as a music business major and soon was performing at local NYC clubs. Name-checking major influences like Alanis Morissette and Ingrid Michaelson, she released her first single “All I Ever Wanted” in July of 2015, quickly followed by her debut EP, Crazy.

In the winter of 2016 she had the privilege of studying in Paris, France. During that time she released her most recent single, “Cave,” which explores the more indie, country and folkier side of her writing style and musical tastes. She also became fascinated with the life of Marie Antoinette and upon returning to the States, began composing a Broadway show about the controversial queen, which is currently in the works.

Zaccardi’s ability to be fluent in several musical genres and blending them seamlessly makes her a songwriter with no limits or boundaries. She continues to perform in New York and is writing more music for her next release.
