So...what does that look like?
A group coaching/teaching program is a program that allows you to coach and teach to a group who are all working towards similar goals, and experiencing similar pain points.
Often group programs include virtual group coaching (or teaching) sessions, group support via a container like Facebook Group or Slack, and can sometimes have an accompanying video vault or framework that your students learn from.
For those who love working 1:1, you can try out a group/1:1 hybrid where each month your clients get a group and 1:1 call(s) with you.
In group programs, you may be operating with a framework, but more often than not you will be meeting your clients/students where they’re at to help them experience a transformation and growth.

- ✔️ You love creating community and being a connector.
- ✔️ You want to create a diverse community of like-minded people working toward similar goals, who can learn from each other’s businesses & obstacles, as you coach.
- ✔️ You’ve developed an engaged audience online who would be interested in working with you.
- ✔️ You’re feeling maxxed out trading time for money, and a lot of your clients have the same problems/goals anyway, so it makes sense to teach & coach them all together.
- ✔️ You want a program that you can run with a specific start and end date, so you can take vacations or record music in between sessions.
THE PROS:
- It’s a great way to scale your business and stop trading time for money. By coaching in a group setting, you’re able to teach everyone all at once, saving you time, and allowing them to learn from each other.
- Typically sold at a higher price point, meaning your audience & client size doesn’t have to be large to make significant income!
- Allows you to work closely with your clients and get them transformations & testimonials.
THE CONS:
- In order to facilitate a group, you have to have enough interest to make a group! Keep in mind that just 2-3 people is a group, so this shouldn’t scare you away from a group coaching program! But a group program does mean you have to consider the timing of when you’re running it, and how many people you want in the program to make it worth your time.
- Since group programs might be anywhere from 8 weeks to 6 months, or even a year long, it’s important the clients you take on are ideal clients, otherwise you could be stuck working with duds for long periods!
